#FurlaFeeling: Introducing The India Exclusive MAAYA

Furla, the distinctive Italian lifestyle brand and one of my favourite brands, celebrated the launch of its first-ever India exclusive bag, Maaya.

This stunning limited edition glitter clutch, designed in Champagne & Gold, marks its debut with a specially inscribed inside plate that reads “FURLA EXCLUSIVE FOR INDIA”.

A glamorous sundownwer In association with Grazia  took place at ASILO one of India’s most luxurious alfresco, rooftop destinations, in order to celebrate this milestone.

The evening saw all of Mumbai’s fashionable lot of woman admiring and accessorising the clutch in their own style sensibilities. Seen sipping the specially concoted Champagne gold dusted cocktail in the radiant ambience inspired by the clutch were  Sarah Jane Dias, Maria Goretti, Manasi Scott, Mandira Bedi, Vicky Kaushal, Suchitra Pillai, Mozez singh, Shaheen Abbas, Neeta lulla, Pria Kataria Puri, Jaya Raheja, Shibani Aggarwal, Ina Arora, Aarti Surendranath, Dilshad Khambata, Laila Lamba Aparna Badlani and many more.

What Went Down at #VogueFashionNightOut

We were a promised a fun and fashionable night out and that’s exactly what team Vogue delievered last night!

It was that time of the year again when Palladium (Now St. Regis) was the most crowded you’ll ever see, people from various fields under one roof, dressed their best to attend the most talked about public event of the year.

A special mentioned to the absolutely amazing fashion styling booth concept put together by the Voguettes! Such a fab concept.

Every year we see various brands put on thier thinking caps and coming up with interactive ways to connect with and engage clients. This time was no exeption. Here’s what went down last night:

Jimmy Choo: The most fashionable shoe brand customised yummy star shaped cookies, that were completely wiped out!

Villeroy & Boch: Germany’s No.1 tableware brand setup a customised health bar in association with RAW Pressery

Michael Kors: What more does one want than unlimited bubbly served all night long and a lucky draw to win a gorgeous MK Bag

Kiehls: Hands down the most crowded store, they out do themselves every year. This year it was all about popcorm, beer, tattoos, cupcakes and SELFIES ofcourse!

 

Such a fun night! It din’t end there..the cherry on top was an afterpart at the newely opened Social, hosted by the queen of prints, Masaba Gupta!

#VFNO never dissapoints, can’t wait for what 2016 has in store for us!

 

 

 

Nishka Lulla’s Fairytale Wedding

The party seem’s to have moved to Bangkok this weekend, with everyone joining to celebrate the big fat Indian wedding of the immensely talented, gorgeous and newly wed young designer, Nishka Lulla.

A one of a kind wedding experience at the spectacular Anantara Riverside property, was just the perfect set up to this fairy tale wedding.

The Mehndi afternoon was an absolutely delightful colourful affair.Tones of orange, red,yellow and pink dominated the decor, which made the perfect set up for this destination wedding. A special mention to the very thoughtful return gift, a beautiful, handcrafted Thai tea pot, one which I cannot wait to use.

The Sangeet on the other hand was an all white theme, just like a fairytale.People partied the night away till the wee hours of the morning, while guests grooved to live performance, including that of the very talented Manasi Scott.

Was an absolute pleasure to be a part of the celebrations.What fabulous hospitality, with attention to to every minute detail, with utmost precision. I was reminded of how fabulous it was to be part of a traditional Indian wedding where guests are made to feel like royalty themselves. This truly was a grand experience, one I will cherish for a long time to come.

The Party Goes On … At MICHAEL KORS

In tune with the jet set lifestyle and a vision of style that reflects glamour,the red carpet rolled out to this year’s annual Met Gala, “China: Through the Looking Glass”,

Who was his plus one may you ask? Well, nothing fancy, just Kate houdson & a line up of the most chic and influential women in Hollywood, including Hailee Steinfeld, Elizabeth Banks, Candice Swanepoel, Liu Wen to  name a few.

And, because the occasion called for a fabulous after-party, Kors—together with iTunes—held an exclusive post-Gala event at The Mark Hotel on the Upper East Side. Inside, the A-list posed for photo-booth-style candid snaps  mingled gown-to-gown with music that set the mood just right. The night ended on a high-note with a performance by Grammy Award-winner Miguel.No that’s what I call a party!

But well, things don’t end here… soon after Michael Kors landed in the cinematic city of London for an A-list panel discussion and a glamorous dinner to celebrate the opening night of Icons of Style—a curated film series hosted in partnership with Vanity Fair and Fashion & Cinema that explores the role of fashion in American film over three decades.

Following the conversation, the audience enjoyed a screening of Love Story, followed by a Kors hosted dinner for the actresses and a array of guests at The Ivy—a beautifully revamped icon of London’s dining scene. Fabulous flowers set the mood, the magician Dynamo wowed with magic tricks and Samantha Bark wound her way around the tables serenading the crowd. Hudson, MacGraw and Russo mingled with Uma Thurman, Clémence Poésy, Mario Testino  and others, raising toasts to style and cinema.

All said and done, the party goes on and on at Michael Kors. AGREED?

 

The Perfect High Tea Experience With Villeroy &Boch

Premium European tableware brand Villeroy & Boch and Verve magazine invited to a noble high tea at a space designed by Gauri Khan in Mumbai.

The evening thrived on the beautiful and aesthetically designed venue. Each floor consisted of varied architectural elements and themes, which were further enhanced by a captivating Villeroy & Boch exhibit on every floor. The highlight of this being  the high tea setup with one of the most classic and traditional tableware collections, Audun Ferme, inspired by the French countryside where Villeroy & Boch was once founded in 1748 and an exceptional dinner table displaying the delicate Premium Bone Porcelain collections La Classica and Anmut

Guests appreciated the aromatic tea, the finest wine and savoured a variety of sweet and zesty treats such as parfait, macaroons, cupcakes and caviar while admiring the latest collections by Villeroy & Boch. Mesmerized by the exhibits and the spectacular store décor, the afternoon was truly a delightful experience and thoroughly cherished by all the guests.

Introducing Disney Mono Pop By Satya Paul

When you think of Satya Paul, the first thing that comes to mind is timeless elegance at it’s best.

It truly must have come as a surprise to most of the brand’s patrons when we revealed our latest collaboration.One that not many would have guessed with much ease.

Last night was an event of sorts, The entire team of Satya Paul was ecstatic to announce the launch of our latest collaboration,an all new quirky and fun collection in collaboration with the creators of magic themselves, Disney.

This stylish retro-modern collection titled ‘Disney Mono Pop by Satya Paul’, kicked off with a  soirée hosted at the Satya Paul store in the Palladium Mall, Mumbai, with Bollywood actress Esha Gupta looking gorgeous in a stunning ‘Minnie Monopop saree’ from the collection. The event was attended by Mumbai’s stylish glitterati, from the likes of Mandira Bedi, Sidharth Roy Kapur, Masaba Gupta, Shaheen Abbas,Manasi Scott, Vidya Malwade, Dipti Bhatnagar and many others.

Inspired by the unique interpretations of iconic Disney characters, this collection reflects and reminisces the evolution of Mickey and Minnie over the years.

What a fun night it was and the collection is already a rage! Can’t wait to wear my Disney Saree and go back in time!

 

 

 

HELLO..Is It The (Film) Stars You’re Looking For?

HELLO…Is it the stars you’re looking for?

I can see it in your eyes, I can see it in your smile..I even saw it last night!

Yes, you got it right, award season has officially kickstarted. Did I mention it started with a BANG!

Last night I witnessed an event of sorts, one that was sophisticated, Chic and Oh-So-Fabulous. The theme for the night was one you can never go wrong with. It was a Classic Black & White affair. The décor was nothing short of opulent and breathtaking. Kudos to Ruchika Mehta & team Hello for pulling this off with such grandeur.

As expected, celebs were the highlight of the evening. But there were several socialites and industrialist’s who were dressed their best, I was definitely Impressed.

Let’s get down to business now shall we. It’s all about WHO WORE WHAT!

Some of the most gorgeous divas’s stepped out in  fine couture last night. Some were ravishing, others, not so much. Special mention to Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sonam Kapoor who wore  Andrew Gn and Ralph & Russo  respectively. They looked  FAB!

 

Unfortunately enough, I cannot say the same about the Dabang  girl, Sonakshi sinha’s Gauri & Nainika gown. Loved her new hairstyle, but her gown.. NOT so much! Something was just not right!

While the diva’s ruled the red carpet. It was new heathrob on the block, Fawad Khan who stole the show. Dressed impeccebly stylish, he could literally sweep any woman off her feet. Beware all you men, this ones a real lady killer!

All in all..It was one memorable night. HELLO, of course it had to be!

Furla Launch Party In Delhi

If i had to some up last night in three words, it would have to be FUN, FANCY and FURLA all the way!

It’s been such a hectic week here in Delhi with all the havoc at work, there could have been no better way than to unwind at a super fun night out with collegues and friends at the Furla store  to celebrate the launch of the brands new store at Select Citywalk Mall in Delhi

I for one love the quality of Furla bags . Their minimalistic look makes them so chic, understated and young all at the same time. The evening boasted of an extensive range of iconic products, which exquisitely combined style, functionality, price and reliability.

Some of my favourites from their latest collection have to be the Alice and Metropolis.Two bags I LOVED!

It din’t end there, I also got me a little present to take back home as a souvenir.Went back home with a beautiful scented Furla candle . How adorable right?
